High Throughput Systems
Invitek offers a broad range of products for high throughput applications, which are developed for the highly efficient purification of plasmid DNA, PCR products, genomic DNA, genomic DNA from forensic and human-identity samples, bacterial DNA, viral DNA and RNA and total RNA from a wide range of starting materials.

General procedure for use of the HTS kits
Following efficient lysis and a precleaning step, if necessary, the nucleic acids bind to specific filter membranes. Very efficient washing steps remove all impurities and ultra pure nucleic acids are eluted in a low-salt buffer. Invitek’s sample preparation technologies are patented and yield nucleic acids of the highest quality, ready to use in any downstream applications.
The HTS PCR cleanup system uses the patented MSB technology. After adjustment of binding conditions, the DNA fragments bind to filter membranes. No washing steps are required and ultra pure PCR fragments of the highest quality, ready to use in any downstream application, are eluted in a low-salt buffer or water.
Centrifuge or vacuum
All Invisorb HTS kits and InviTrap and the MSB HTS kit are optimized for use in a centrifuge with deep buckets, realizing very short processing times and the highest yields. Samples can be processed within 15 min - 1.5 hours using these procedures (less than 10 sec - 1 minute per preparation). The kits are also suitable and optimized for vacuum driven processing and can be deployed on manifolds, e.g. the Invisorb 96 Vacuum Manifold, or on common robotic workstations for completely automated purification procedures.
